EME 6208 Technology & Media
I made this entire website myself using HTML coding. This was a project done for my Technology & Media Class in the summer of 2025. This website is not only a culmination of several projects done in my EME6208 Interactive Media class, but it ended up being a learning experience building on old and new knowledge. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to make these assignments, and it has helped me learn so much more about technology, which I am able to share with others.
Please be sure to peruse all the tabs on the website. I am especially proud of my Job Aid, pictured here, and the online lesson I did on how to photograph a moonbow, which is a rainbow at night.

LIS 6711 Organization of Knowledge
This homework that I did for my Organization of Knowledge class. As the assignment says this assignment taught me how to use a different social cataloging system, LibraryThing. I have used Good Reads before, and have quite an extensive list of what I have read there and friends, so this was very similar. As I was navigating through it I found this to be actually a bit easier to create your own library/catalog, and to add books to it than Good Reads. I picked 3 books I have read at random to use for this assignment. After adding them I quickly learned how to edit the tags and created at least two for each.
This class taught me how to use Social Cataloging and Tagging to analyze and organize books by subjects not only in this assignment, but the class as well.
III.b. Students identify and apply best practices in the use of different technologies for knowledge representation
LIS 5937.009 Makerspace & Making
"Making Makerspace Mondays" was not made for my makerspace class, but for my technology elective LIS5268. This is a great example of me using videographic technology and editing to teach a new and different kind of technology in the library.
